Organizations We Support

The New Pro Life Movement supports a number of organizations across the country that are actively working towards a whole life society. We encourage readers and followers to get to know these organizations and support them in any way you can. Additionally, our network is constantly growing. If you have an organization that you think fits the goals of NPLM, email us at thenewprolifemovement@gmail.com.

Save the Storks

“Save the Storks has launched 24 “Stork Buses” that are operated by local pregnancy centers. These buses, equipped with ultrasound machines, surround sound systems, and large TV displays are helping save lives outside abortion clinics and on college campuses. As part of our mission to equip pregnancy centers, we actively engage with the next generation by encouraging them to re-imagine the pro-life movement. Their innovative spirits, thoughtfulness, and care for people afflicted by injustice is invaluable as our culture shifts towards embracing life.”

The Gabriel Project

The Gabriel Project® is a confidential and compassionate outreach to women who are distressed over an unplanned pregnancy. We rely on local parish communities to respond in a loving manner to the needs of the mother-to-be, witnessing to the infinite and healing love of God. A trained “Gabriel Angel” from a participating church supports the woman’s choice for life through friendship, encouragement, and prayer throughout her pregnancy. In addition to providing emotional and spiritual support, the “Gabriel Angel” helps the expectant mom with various practical needs, including finding resources such as the following:

  • Pregnancy information and assistance with pre-natal care
  • Maternity and baby clothes, cribs, strollers, and various baby items
  • Referrals for housing, medical care and counseling
  • Parenting support or adoption information

Catholic Charities of Oregon

Inspired by the transformative power of God’s love, Catholic Charities, the social service arm of the Catholic Church in western Oregon, partners with the most vulnerable, regardless of faith, to achieve lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.

A Simple House

Our motto is to wonderfully and radically fall upon the cross of Christ for grace and support.  A Simple House began in Washington, DC in 2003, and in 2009, a house was founded in Kansas City, MO.

Missionary volunteers visit families in project neighborhoods and the homeless in their camps. These visits aim to create an authentic friendship that benefits the poor and glorifies God. These friendships last for years, and the friendship may continue even after volunteers move out of A Simple House.

The Stanton Project

Inspired by human rights activists such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, Stanton International continues the fight for equality and justice on the global stage.

We believe in the fundamental truth that human rights begin in the womb. Every woman has an inherent right to embrace motherhood regardless of income, race, ethnicity, or place of residence.

We believe in practical, caring solutions which uphold the dignity of both mother and child. We provide life-affirming options to abortion-vulnerable women and provide hope to those struggling from the pain of a past abortion.

We believe sexual and reproductive integrity is vital to the health of each individual, every family, and by extension, society as a whole.

Stanton International seeks to replace abortion businesses around the world because we believe that women and their families are entitled to quality, coercion-free care and compassionate alternatives to abortion.

Maggie’s Place

The Maggie’s Place houses of hospitality were created in the spirit of the Catholic Worker tradition of Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin as an expression of their faith. Following Catholic social teaching, we recognize that we are responsible to and for one another. This foundation is at the core of implementing our mission and running our homes. The Maggie’s Place community values that guide our work include the following:

  • Love
  • Hospitality
  • Community
  • Excellence

Maggie’s Place provides for the immediate physical and emotional needs of our guests including shelter, food, clothing, and a supportive community. In addition, Maggie’s Place connects them to the appropriate agencies and resources including prenatal care, health insurance, low-cost housing, and education programs.

Women can join the Maggie’s Place community at any point in their pregnancy and stay until the child is six months old (and sometimes longer depending on circumstance). The backgrounds of our guests, who are often in difficult and complicated situations, might include previous drug use, rape, abusive relationships, lack of understanding of self-worth, no employment experience, limited education, strained relationships with family members, poor support networks, or mental illness

All Our Lives

All Our Lives is a woman-led nonprofit organization that is informed by both the reproductive justice movement and the consistent life ethic.

We are pro every life: before, during, and after birth. Therefore we vigorously advocate women’s right to exercise freedom of conscience in making voluntary, nonviolent sexual and reproductive decisions. This freedom depends on one’s fully informed consent regarding different options, their benefits, and their drawbacks. It depends just as much on the social power to carry out one’s values and preferences. We are thus responsible to confront the intersecting injustices of sexism, racism, classism, ablism, LGBT phobia, religious discrimination, environmental pollution, and anything else that thwarts the human rights to life and nonviolent choice.

Feeding Children Everywhere

We are committed to providing healthy meals to those in need. Our delicious Red Lentil Jambalaya is all-natural, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan. We source our plant-based ingredients from farms right here in the United States.

We are committed to sustainability. Creating a hunger-free world will be possible if we have an awareness of our impact on the world around us. We have implemented sustainability goals to reduce our carbon footprint and to eliminate the utilization of harmful plastics. This commitment also includes helping to create self-sufficient and sustainable communities through our program areas.

We are committed to making your contribution truly matter! Financial efficiency and meaningful impact are the pillars of our commitment. We believe that financial transparency combined with a high-energy, tangible impact volunteer experience is the key to a contribution that makes a meaningful difference.
